Intelligence for the live human world

We bring captions onto the stage and build toward intelligence that understands the live moment. Humans create. Technology supports their intention.

What is Ariel Innovations?

Ariel Innovations is a Taiwanese cultural technology company developing human-centric edge AI for live environments. Its first application, Storytelling Supertitles™, brings multilingual captions into the stage design. Ariel builds the technology and co-produces theatre.

Culture is our content, the stage sets the standard, edge AI is our craft.

Storytelling Supertitles™ is the first application

The current system uses speech and script to anticipate prepared dialogue, recognize improvisation and display multilingual captions within the stage design. Live processing runs on a device in the venue, offline during performance.

The stage is where we test our work

Storytelling Supertitles™ was demonstrated in ticketed performance at Weiwuying on 12 October 2025 and featured by Taiwan Public Television on 14 October 2025. Ariel’s production record includes three ticketed productions between October 2025 and January 2026. Production credits and sources are documented separately from technology claims.

The roadmap for live intelligence

Company roadmap, 9 September 2026. Future deliverables are targets, subject to development and validation.

  1. 2026

    Supertitle delivery

Speech and script are the existing core. The focus is delivery in live performance, with Japan as the first market and a CEATEC keynote planned for 15 October 2026.

  2. 2027

    Production memory

R&D target: package production memory and a model of show state. Planned toolkits and training would help venues operate the system themselves.

  3. 2028

    Live performance assistant

R&D target: understand multimodal events and adapt to changes. A planned Taiwan–Japan co-production would provide a development setting.

  4. 2029

    Venue coordination

R&D target: coordinate venue systems through human-approved actions. A first Broadway production is a commercial target.

  5. 2030+

    Partner licensing

Long-term target: license the intelligence to partners and research how it transfers to unfamiliar environments. General-purpose intelligence has not been validated.
