Services, sermons, and scripture in each congregant’s language, designed to run on hardware the community owns, with nothing recorded to anyone’s cloud. We are designing this surface now, for 2027, on the same architecture already demonstrated on Taiwan’s premier stage.

A congregation is often four languages
sharing one moment.
Grandparents worship in one language, their children in a second, visiting members in a third. The moment is shared; the words are not. Faith communities have carried multilingual life for generations, long before technology offered to help, and mostly without it.
And worship is precisely where cloud captioning fits worst. Confession, counsel, prayer: what is spoken in a sanctuary is not conference content. It should not become training data, a server log, or a subpoena target. If technology enters this room, it must be architecture the community owns: on-device, private by construction, with nothing streamed and nothing stored off-site.

Three commitments before the first sanctuary.
Liturgy and scripture, rendered faithfully.
Worship language is a register of its own. The system is being designed to respect established translations of scripture and liturgy rather than re-translating them on the fly.
Nothing recorded to anyone’s cloud.
What is spoken in the room stays in the room. No stream, no off-site storage, no third party. It is the same sovereign architecture that carries our work everywhere else.
Why Ariel, for this room
We didn’t discover faith communities. We come from them.
Faith communities and inter-religious networks are one of the four ecosystems Ariel is built from: networks that operate on a different time signature than institutional channels and that carry trust across generations and borders. This surface is being designed with those communities, not merely for them.
The technology core is Storytelling Supertitles™, demonstrated in ticketed performance at Weiwuying on 12 October 2025 and featured on Taiwan Public Television. The sanctuary is one of the rooms we are carrying it into next.
